With a career spanning international organizations, government institutions, and global healthcare companies, he has developed deep expertise in navigating the intersection of healthcare innovation, public policy, regulatory strategy, and stakeholder engagement.
At PITRA, Manoj advises businesses, investors, healthcare organizations, and policymakers on healthcare strategy, public policy, regulatory engagement, market access, and stakeholder relations. His experience across government, multilateral institutions, and industry enables him to provide unique insights into policy developments, healthcare systems, and emerging opportunities within India's rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
Prior to joining PITRA, Manoj held leadership roles across the healthcare and life sciences ecosystem. He worked with the World Health Organization (WHO) as a Surveillance Medical Officer and contributed to health policy analysis at NITI Aayog, where he supported national health initiatives and public health programs, including the rollout of digital health tools under Mission Indradhanush. He subsequently transitioned into senior corporate leadership positions, serving as Global Public Affairs Lead at Sanofi Pasteur in France, India Lead for Health Economics, Policy and Reimbursement at Medtronic, and India Head of Government Affairs and Public Policy at Eli Lilly and Company.
A physician by training, Manoj holds an MBBS and MD in Community Medicine from the University of Delhi and a Post Graduate Programme in Management from the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad. He is passionate about building partnerships that advance healthcare innovation, improve access, and create sustainable impact across health systems.
