At PITRA, Monali leads initiatives focused on cross-border trade, investment facilitation, market access, and strategic partnerships. Based in Shanghai, she works closely with businesses, investors, and institutions seeking to build commercial bridges between India, China, and Europe. Her extensive understanding of regulatory systems, business ecosystems, and international networks enables clients to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and establish successful long-term partnerships across borders.
Prior to joining PITRA, Monali held advisory roles with leading global firms including PwC and KPMG, where she specialized in corporate taxation, cross-border structuring, and regulatory advisory for multinational corporations, foreign banks, and financial institutions. Over the years, she has developed deep expertise in facilitating international business transactions, market entry strategies, investment structuring, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
Monali is also the India Partner of Cathay Associates, a global full-service advisory network operating across more than 90 countries. Through this platform, she provides clients access to international legal, tax, and business expertise while supporting procurement partnerships, technology transfer initiatives, and strategic joint ventures.
